JOB SUMMARY

 

This person is responsible for developing, implementing and deploying the demand planning and S&OP processes and system for the EMEA region ($400M+ business), including a new Advanced Planning Solution (APS) with a focus on demand planning but as well as the SAP upgrade to S/4HANA aligned to the global blueprint 
The role will lead change management efforts with various stakeholders within Supply Chain (Global and Region, Planning and Fulfilment), but also with the Commercial teams, Customer Relation, Finance and Marketing, to ensure smooth transitions during transformation projects.          
In addition, the person will be also responsible for managing a product portfolio ensuring an accurate demand signal is shared with the planning team but also ensure that the product is at the right place at the right.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Implementation activities 
•    Assess current SC processes on demand Planning and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, representing the EMEA region in global blueprint and design.
•    Use system expertise (APS and S/4HANA) and best practice in industry to ensure that system supports SC and business processes   
•    Align supply chain initiatives with overall business goals 
•    Seek cross-functional collaboration with other departments such as finance, marketing, and operations to develop process supporting supply chain strategies and aligning with overall business objectives
•    Ensure adherence of users and other stakeholders to new processes and system solution
•    Develop indicators to monitor success of the new processes
•    Drive increased capability through the EMEA S&OP process
•    Global ambassador for change to deliver best in class DP and S&OP process, supporting other regions as needed.

Operational activities for a specific portfolio
•    Manage the demand and the execution of the regional activities to meet service level target 
•    Proactively communicates supply risks and potential issues to the EMEA Commercial team, ensuring transparency and driving mitigation plans.
•    Provides internal stakeholders with timely and accurate updates on open orders, backorders, product availability, and lead times.
•    Oversees and guides the execution of inbound flows, including shipment notifications, inbound transactions, discrepancy management, and escalations to ensure supply continuity.
•    Ensures proper execution of SOPs related to inventory planning, receipt, distribution, and warehouse operations.


Leadership
•    Lead change management efforts with various stakeholders within Supply Chain 
•    Drives continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing demand accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
•    Leads change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of process improvements.
•    Promotes collaboration and knowledge-sharing, encouraging teamwork and best practice adoption.
•    Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and drives corrective actions to achieve targets.
•    Represents the EMEA Supply Chain team in cross-functional meetings, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education
-    Graduate or university degree

Requirements
-    At least 10 years experience in demand /supply planning including S&OP at region/global level
-    Good understanding of end-to-end Supply chain
-    Good knowledge of SAP (ECC TO S4) and APS (Gartner Magic Quadrant – IBP, Gains, Kinaxis) 
-    English fluency
-    Preferable experience in the medical device/ healthcare sector
