DISTRIBUTOR FIELD SERVICE MANAGER – EMEA

 

JOB SUMMARY

Manages the field service activities in EMEA on Terumo BCT products by distributors and subcontractors, while actively coordinating the field service activities within an assigned territory, ensuring a high level of technical service in compliance with Terumo BCT standards

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As the Distributor Field Service Manager:
    • Manage, coach and develop the team of Distributor Field Service Coordinators in EMEA.
    • Identify customer needs/opportunities and develop, implement and enhance relevant service solutions.
    • Document and maintain technical service related procedures for Distributors and Sub-contractors.
  • Lead and/or participate to regional projects that support the business.
  • As the Distributor Field Service Coordinator:
    • support distributors and sub-contractors in the assigned territory to ensure strong technical customer support.
    • Monitor service performance and reporting.
    • Evaluate technical service team and coordinate training needs.
    • Monitor & audit the distributors and sub-contractors in a regular way for compliance with Terumo BCT service procedures and expectations.
    • Drive, support and monitor timely implementations of Field Actions.
    • Keeps the overview on open issues, coordinate with technical service issues and transmit non-technical questions to commercial consultants, clinical, as appropriate.
    • In exceptional cases, actively participate to on-site service activities as business requires.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers, stakeholders in EMEA and other regions within Terumo BCT.
  • Perform any other additional duties or projects as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Min. Master degree in Engineering or equivalent to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

 

Experience

A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a field service environment of which a minimum of 5-7 years of international service management experience of Service providers, preferably in the healthcare sector.

  • Strong analytical thinking as well the ability to apply logical methods in identifying and solving problems.
  • Requires high level of organizational and territory management skills.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Good knowledge and use of IT hardware/software.
  • Possesses a valid driving license for a car.

  • Based: Belgium – Terumo BCT Leuven
  • Reporting to: EMEA Field Service Manager
  • Travel up to 50%: free to travel within territory
