Training Content Developer (QMS) (Temporary) - entry level

Content Developers support workstreams to develop QMS training to various audiences. They develop training content and assessments for QMS courses including eLearning, Instructor Led, and On the Job training, depending on the format chosen. They support QMS training content across development and implementation.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develops/updates all global QMS training source files and global QMS training content
  • Develops eLearning, instructor led, and on the job training materials for QMS global role-based curricula; including learning objectives, learning activities, and assessments
  • Creates engaging learning, given the delivery format chosen, that meets instructional objectives and supports learner-focused learning by incorporating adult learning theories and real-world problem-solving application
  • Develops courses using MS Word, Storyline 3, and other content-development applications
  • Updates existing material when needed and adapt instructional materials for various formats

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. Master’s degree and/or CPLP certification preferred.

 

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years experience in training development or instructional delivery methods
  • Interpretation and application of adult learning concepts to global audiences
  • Experience interfacing with global teams
  • 1 to 2 years experience with eLearning authoring ware and electronic database systems (LMS/LCMS)

 

Skills

  • Strong instructional skills with experience developing training content incorporating adult learning theories and methods applied to various mediums and for varied audiences
  • Experience editing for grammar, spelling, punctuation and other mechanics of style
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form strong relationships with all levels of corporate and field organizations
  • Flexible and able to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams to influence, mentor and incorporate team’s recommendations
  • Solicits and accepts the ideas of others, as well as actively contributes to an environment conducive to open communication
  • Capability to interact with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate assertiveness
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively
  • Must be detail oriented, well organized, and able to work independently and in teams

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Additional Physical Requirements
