JOB SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for effectively coordinating an accurate Raw Materials inventory, receiving, shipping, distribution and Sterilization with operational efficiencies and high-quality performance.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • INVENTORY CONTROL
  • Makes recommendations and implements programs to improve inventory management process and measure performance results.
  • Investigates inventory discrepancies and forwards resolution decisions to appropriate associates.
  • Ensures that inventory reconciliations are investigated and remedied within company guidelines.
  • Performs inventory control and operational functions utilizing warehouse operating system.
  • Performs the cycle count program ensuring all documentation and records are maintained so that company guidelines are met. 
  • Perform investigations into potential Bill of Materials problems and report findings. 
  • Ensures that all non-conforming product is maintained within company guidelines and legal regulations.
  • Performs analysis and trend reporting to identify successful storage strategies and pick efficiencies.
  • Assists in training and certifying material handlers on procedures and equipment.
  • Daily coordination with Material Handlers/Planning/Procurement Department/Logistics and production floor requirements
  • SHIPPING AND STERILIZATION
  • Implements daily production and shipping plan arrangements with Logistics and warehouse about materials requirements and shipments required to be sent. (Couriers/locals and finish goods)
  • Actively contributes to the Sterilization Internal Process Review process.
  • Responsible for obtaining final QC release before the shipments get picked up
  • Responsible for sterilization Supply Chain records.
  • Monitors ETO inventory and orders ETO in sufficient quantity to meet processing requirements without exceeding regulatory limits. 
  • Prepares and/or assists in processing of specials sterilization requests.
  • Schedules and communicates commitments and shipping instructions to the warehouse.
  • Maintains records that are used for manufacturing planning, such as the Sterilization Load Log, Daily Loads received Log, and the PO Log.
  • Responsible for inventory of shipping ordering supplies such as labels, load sheets, logs, trailer seals.
  • Ensure shipping counts/lots match with the documentation.
  • Ensure the correct packaging to avoid damages during the transit time.   
  • INBOUND  
  • Coordinate incoming inventory and equipment deliveries.
  • Arrange the physically space for inbound and outbound with logistics /pack out.
  • Assure all discrepancies and materials pending to be picked up gets done under a daily basis.  
  • Support on resolve any discrepancies between paperwork and inventory received.
  • 3PL AND DISTRIBUTION
  • Support on distribution requirements.  
  • PACKOUT
  • Assure all pack out procedures complies vs physically tasks
  • Responsible for arranging with production the lots to be packed under a daily basis.
  • Responsible to arrange with shipping department and material handlers the lots to be sterilized
  • Coordinates with production the end of the months to process the lots required to accomplish the goal.

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be flexible with work schedule.
  • On Site position
  • In the absence of the team lead or supervisor, may assume responsibility for organizing, leading, and completing daily shift operational tasks.
  • Support on coordination for internal and external audits
  • Support on the coordination during the shutdown.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree (customs administration, international commerce or Industrial engineering) preferred or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years experience in the medical devices industry.
  • Knowledge of technologies and methods of manufacturing area, typically acquired through a minimum of 2 years of work experience in warehousing/material handling.
  • Background in warehousing procedures including material handling equipment and receiving, shipping, inventory control systems preferred.
  • SAP system expertise preferred.

 

Skills

  • Expanded knowledge of the department’s processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to be detailed oriented and perform at high levels of productivity.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Must have completed and validated procedural training for all facets of the warehouse operations.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • AITA Certification.
