As Marketing Specialist you will support the Marketing Manager for Global Blood Solution globally, and learn how to take full ownership of the marketing process for your area of responsibility (from data gathering to marketing effectiveness). You will be in charge for rolling out strategies for global markets. Your primary focus will be to support Terumo BCT in keeping his market leading position in the blood centers industry and supporting the role-out of new products and projects. You have a direct impact on sales including new product launches and protecting/extending the core business via the implementation of marketing strategies, programs and pricing strategies.  You work closely with all primary functions such as R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Market Access and Regional commercial organizations to provide direction and frequently co-develop strategies to successfully identify and secure growth opportunities, support tools, and new marketing programs.  



  • Assist with the Market development, executing on product and campaign launches, supporting downstream marketing, implementing global strategies, implementing global marketing plans, supporting product commercialization, implementing training strategies and tools, coordinating the various functional teams needed to successfully support the global commercial effort.
  • Become SME on products and solutions within your area of responsibility.
  • Helps establishing metrics to marketing effectiveness and impact on revenue, market share, prices, customer satisfaction, lead generation.
  • Co-responsible for new product/service offering, market share/penetration, segmentation, pricing strategies in alignment with Global imperatives.
  • Develop data capturing tool such as power BI dashboard for monitoring key figures at global level
  • As per the Go To Market plans aims at full alignment with cross functional departments such as regulatory, medical affairs, market access, sales, operations.
  • Works closely with regional marketing to successfully identify business opportunities by specific geographic area and develop support tools and new programs in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Support on capturing appropriate feedback from geographies to support product design, functionality, translation priorities, sales force collaterals, and customer communication material to insure effectiveness.
  • Co-Development of marketing plans for specific products, protocols, and/or product enhancements, ensuring proper positioning strategies. Support pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities.


Education & experience

  • A master degree in marketing is preferred, or equivalent through experience.
  • English: strong proficient level
  • Requires at least a first experience (1 year minimum), in the area(s) of sales and/or marketing with relevant experience in the healthcare environment (i.e. pharmaceutical/medical devices). 
  • Good communication skills, ability to manage by influence
  • Insights and knowledge on driving revenue through creative sales channels and marketing programs. 
  • Creative thinker with the potential to provide both strategic and tactical innovation.
  • Nice to have;
    • First experience in sales/marketing position
    • Multiple language skills including Spanish

  • Requires travel (15%+)
